From November 9 to 12, the delegation of Takatsuki, Osaka Prefecture, Japan, headed by Katsuhiko Kakihara, vice-president of Association of Japan and China Friendship, Takatsuki city, Japan, and Yoshitaka Tsuruta, president of the Craft Department of Tokorozawa Art Association, visited Changzhou. On the morning of November 10, the 2nd China-Japan Friendship City (Changzhou) Ceramic Art Cultural Exchange Conference opened. Vice Mayor Fang Guoqiang attended the opening ceremony.

In February this year, the “Changzhou Culture Week” series was held in Takatsuki. At the same time, the Changzhou Yutao Cultural Exchange Conference was held in Tokorozawa, Saitama Prefecture, Japan.

At the Ceramic Art Cultural Exchange Conference, Changzhou International Exchange Center, the Association of Japan and China Friendship, Takatsuki city, Japan, and Changzhou Jingxi Yutao Art Museum jointly signed a letter of intent for cultural exchanges on ceramic art, hoping to make such exchanges sustainable through the joint efforts of the three parties.
