On October 30, Larisa Yevgenyevna Lazutina, deputy of the Moscow Regional Duma, Russia, led a five-member delegation to Liyang, Changzhou. Accompanied by Shi Xiaoqing, deputy director of the Foreign Affairs Committee of Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress, the delegation visited Liyang鈥檚 No. 1 Tourist Road, the Jiangsu Guoxin Liyang Pumped Storage Power Generation Co., Ltd. and the Tianmu Lake Scenic Area. Chen Jianguo, deputy director of the Standing Committee of CPC Changzhou Municipal People's Congress, and Cui Wenmin, deputy director of the Standing Committee of CPC Liyang People's Congress, accompanied the delegates.
In 1999, Jiangsu province and the Moscow region officially established friendship province relationship. In 2002, the Standing Committee of Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress and the Moscow Regional Duma signed a memorandum of friendly exchanges. The two sides have established a mechanism of regular mutual visits and carried out fruitful cooperation with wonderful results.
